Department of Chemistry

The Department of Chemistry of Sapienza University of Rome (www.chem.uniroma1.it) has a distinguished history and a tradition of excellence in teaching, research, and service. The research and teaching interests of the faculty cover 5 areas: Analytical Chemistry, Physical Chemistry, Industrial Chemistry, Organic Chemistry and Inorganic Chemistry.
The Department offers several large research facilities which include laboratories for NMR, SEM, CLSM, EDS, EDXD, mass spectroscopy laser kinetic and photochemistry, photoemission and many others. The scientific  productivity of the Department is documented by 1200 articles published in peer-review international journals in the last 5 years
